I received my 100th heart in etsy recently. I decided to give a gift to the etsyian who hearted me. It turned out to be a shop with two women.
With Valentines fast approaching, the 100th heart was just too much of a coincidence for me to ignore. I decided to create two Queen of Heart pendant necklaces.
I love the recycled paper I bought from Julia Garretson so much, I decided to use a bit more to embellish some Rummikub® game pieces. I added a vintage image, then embellished a little embossed gold heart in the corner. The queen pendant above is on a gold plated chain. The queen pendant below is on a cotton faux leather cord.
I like the way they turned out and I’m tempted to make a few more for Valentines Day. The two beauties above will be heading to the United Kingdom. I hope they make it before February 14. I really hope my 2 100th heart etsyian enjoy them.

Awesome, Sue! I really like these.
I had to replace my le crappy drill so I can drill more plastic items. I bought a variable speed dremel 300. It has a 24 piece accessory kit and I also bought some extra bits, too. I am now offically cooking with variable speed gas now!

YAY! Isn’t it nice to get a new tool? Now you’ll want to drill holes in everything.
