Sweet Annee’s Gifts from the Sweet Little Nest Swap

YAY! My nest arrived yesterday from Deena a.k.a. Sweet Annee. Deena and I were swap partners in Speckled Egg’s Sweet Little Nest Swap. What a treat to get to know Deena a little! We found out we are both birders.
Besides the little birdie in the nest, Deena sent me some bird and nest themed cardstock stickers, a bird ornament, a wood egg ornament with a little bird tag, and a pretty card with a girl in a nest.
Deena created a little furry bird with some natural nesting material. The eggs are real eggs. I love how the little bird has some nesting material stuck to his furry feathers. It’s the way all little birdies should be.

Awesome goodness, Sue! I am still in my creation mode for my nest as is my partner. I hit a bit of a bump with my bird. I cannot decide hos to create it.

I had that problem every step of the way. You have so many options, it’s difficult to chose. I like to explore. For instance, although I tossed my first set of eggs, I still have 9 eggs sitting on my counter. And I made two whole nests with different birds and eggs.
I find it very easy to get stuck in a theme for a while. If I have a lot of ideas, I create the same thing several different ways. This goes on until I find something else to fixate on.
