My friend Michelle requested that I show one of my cats playing with one of the catnip mouse I made. See my Catnip Mouse Factory post for instructions on how to sew a catnip mouse toy with faux fur fabric scraps, yarn, polyfil and catnip. Just for you Michelle, here’s some pictures of Mimi with one of my handmade mice.
Mimi sniffing her new toy.
Mimi likes what she smells!
Oh boy! A new catnip toy! Yummy!
It’s Mine! Stay Away!
Well Michelle, what do you think?

LOL. I knew it! You, too, are a kitty drug dealer.
Once they try it (catnip). They gotta have it. Out cats have destroyed 2 catnip plants. They can leave it alone for years until they get a little taste. Then…WHAMMO! They destroy the whole plant in a week.

LOL!
I planted a catmint plant out front hoping to keep the neighborhood cats away from the bird feeder area. I went out to water last night and couldn’t find it anymore. All I found was a nub’un where the plant used to be.
