Lanterns ~ Another Summer Themed Charm Bracelet

 

When I created my Summer Citrus charm bracelet, I pulled quite a few yellow, orange, red and green beads.  I was originally going to use vintage Lucite beads for the bracelet.  I headed off in a different direction with that bracelet.  The Lucite beads are recycled from a broken down necklace I found at a garage sale.  They were just too fun to put away.  I decided to make another bracelet. 

 

 As I started to stack the beads up on pins I thought they looked like bright little lanterns with a green base.  I added red glass bead lanterns too.  I threw in some little silver bells and a couple flower charms to complete the bracelet.

 

 I love the bubbles inside the Lucite beads.  The bubbles add some needed texture.   I love the way the light shines through the beads. 

The warm orange, yellow and red remind me of summer.  I could use a little warming up.  We’re having record cold temperatures this June.  I’m definitely dreaming of summer as I sit her with my cold feet.
