Be very gentle when you do your wrap. I don't know what gauge of wire you are using to wrap. I used 24 gauge. If you're using a heavier wire, you may be flexing the little wires too much. I've used annealed steel and the regular silver craft wire. They are both very easy to bend around the bulb. I hope this helps. Cindy,

I tried to find out something about them when I decided to list them in my etsy shop, but I didn't come up with anything. I can't even remember where I found them. I did have a booth in an antique, gift and collectible store. I'm still trying to clear out some of the accumulated stuff. I'm not an expert by any means on antiques and collectibles. I just collect what I like. They did sell pretty quickly. I do know the person who bought them from me. She collects salt and pepper shakers. I don’t know much about them.
