Hello P-plum

What a marvelous site you have. And such a creative mind. A double whammy. I stumbled across your site while tag surfing at WordPress. And a bit of serendipity as I'd just posted a piece this morning on rejuvenating jewelry ... small world. Love to meet another recycler!

Cindy,

You can put just a dot of super glue where the wires meet at the top of the bulb. Be very gentle when you do your wrap. I don't know what gauge of wire you are using to wrap. I used 24 gauge. If you're using a heavier wire, you may be flexing the little wires too much. I've used annealed steel and the regular silver craft wire. They are both very easy to bend around the bulb. I hope this helps.

I don't know much about them. I tried to find out something about them when I decided to list them in my etsy shop, but I didn't come up with anything. I can't even remember where I found them.

I did have a booth in an antique, gift and collectible store. I'm still trying to clear out some of the accumulated stuff. I'm not an expert by any means on antiques and collectibles. I just collect what I like.

They did sell pretty quickly. I do know the person who bought them from me. She collects salt and pepper shakers.

Hi I was searching the net for a set of salt and pepper shakers similar or the same to ones I own. I finally found your picture on flikr of the 2 wooden bulls.
I have a passion for collecting vintage wooden nick nacks and I was wondering if you have any information on these Bulls. Mine have a stand that they sit on also.
If you know anything please let me know =)

Thanks lulu! I think our district is going to close schools through the week. I thought I would wait until after the holiday to schedule another open studio.

Hi Sue - I love your snow photos and am enjoying the snow while it's here (not sure why we have school off today, but I certainly won't argue with the powers that be!). I also really enjoyed the tutorial on sewing oilcloth - thanks for the tips on something I'd like to try. I look forward to your rescheduled open studio!

I found you when I was searching for button bracelets, and popped over to watch your video. You're so talented. I just got a batch of dominoes from my sister to create with, and looking for ideas for those, too. Great job!
